The article describes the two types of licenses available for themes purchased via the Zendesk marketplace: Standard and Developer. The Standard license allows access to the Settings panel for adjusting pre-configured variables but does not permit source code changes. The Developer license provides access to the source code for modifications, but Premium Plus is not responsible for any issues arising from these changes. No support is offered for custom HTML, CSS, or JS code in Developer themes, although paid support is available through Development Services. Bugs can be reported via email, and updates are automatically applied through Zendesk.
Marketplace Theme
If you purchased your Theme via the Zendesk marketplace, then the following article applies. Each marketplace Theme comes in 2 different license types. (Standard and Developer). The support you are entitled to will depend on the license type:
Standard License
- The Standard license gives you access to the Settings panel to tweak pre-configured variables like style variations, colours, and logos but doesn't allow you to change the source code.
Developer License
- The Developer version of this theme gives you access to the source code to make changes in the code and functionality.
- Premium Plus is not responsible for any breaking changes resulting from these changes. The customer can always revert to the up-to-date working marketplace version.
- We offer no support for custom HTML, CSS or JS code on these themes
Updates and Support
- Bugs can be reported via support@premiumplus.io and will be fixed via a Marketplace app update. Marketplace themes get updates automatically via the built-in Zendesk functionality.
- As mentioned above, we offer no free support on custom HTML, CSS or JS code changes made on the developer license. Customers can use our Development Services to get paid support and guidance.
