Hiding Events Types (as an admin)

In the event Manager PRO, you can show/hide Event Types for both the agents as within the user's profile.

Hiding Event Types for agents

It can be useful to hide Event Types for example when

• they are still being worked on
• they are to be used via API and not by agents

Note that hiding an Event Type only hides it in the Agent Sidebar app. If the Events is created via API, it will still show up on the user's Profile

You can hide an Event Type by going to the Admin Panel.

1. Select an Event Type in the left sidebar
2. Choose Manage Event Type in the Tab above the Event Type editor
3. Toggle the Show for Agents button to Off.

Hiding Event Types under a users profile

You can hide an Event Type by going to the Admin Panel.

1. Select an Event Type in the left sidebar
2. Choose Manage Event Type in the tab above the Event Type editor
3. Toggle the Show in User Profile button to Off.

Note that the same can be done by going to your Zendesk Admin Center >> People >> Events >> Custom Events and toggling off your Event Type.
